Ad Sizes, Specifications and Deadlines

We publish on the third week of each month and we need the ad files and payment by the Friday before the week you want the ads to start. Here are the specs:


OC Blues Magazine Ads can be up to 640 pixels wide and 480 pixels deep. Ads should be jpeg or gif files in web resolution (72dpi max). Animated graphics are NOT allowed in OC Blues magazine ads. Ad files must be under 100K in size. Please specify the link you want the ad to go to when you send the ads to us.

OC Blues News Ad sizes

Side Bar Ads $35 a month, are 160 pixels wide with a maximum of 180 pixels deep. Ads should be jpeg or gif files in web resolution (72dpi max). Ad file must be under 100K in size. Please specify the link you want the ad to go to when you send the ads to us.


Top Banner Ads $50 a month, are 640 pixels wide by 75 pixels tall. Ads should be jpeg or gif files in web resolution (72dpi max). Ad file must be under 100K in size. Please specify the link you want the ad to go to when you send the ads to us.


Bottom Banner Ads $25 a monthare 640 pixels wide by 75 pixels tall. Ads should be jpeg or gif files in web resolution (72dpi max). Ad file must be under 100K in size. Please specify the link you want the ad to go to when you send the ads to us.

Advertising on our website

You can put your event on our homepage at OrangeCountyBluesSociety.com either as Top Banner Ad, Side Bar Ad or Bottom Banner Ad.


Top Banner Ads – $50 a month. Top banner ads get the most attention. Top banner ads appear on every page. (600 pixels wide by 75 pixels tall) Maximum resolution is 72 dpi. No advertisement graphic may be more than 100k.


Side Bar Ads – $35 a month. Side Bar ads appear on every page of the website. (160 pixels wide by 180 pixels tall) Maximum resolution is 100 dpi. No advertisement graphic may be more than 100k.


Bottom Banner Ads – $25 a month. For those looking for a good value these ads are our largest ads and they appear on every page. There are only 4 rotating bottom banner ads available at any time. (600 pixels wide by 75 pixels tall) Maximum resolution is 72 dpi. No advertisement graphic may be more than 100k.
